The Tata Safari is a seven-seater SUV with a price range from Rs 13.29 lakh to Rs 25.96 lakh. It is known for its bold styling, comfortable ride quality, premium feature set and a strong focus on safety, having secured a 5-star rating from both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP. The Safari facelift sports a striking and well-executed exterior design highlighted by modern lighting elements and tasteful colour options, while offering flexibility in seating with a choice of either a 6-seater layout featuring captain seats or a 7-seater configuration with bench seating for second-row passengers. Feature highlights include ventilated front and second-row seats in the 6-seater version, a large 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof. Currently, the Tata Safari is powered by a 170 PS 2-litre diesel engine and a newly introduced 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. It competes with the likes of the MG Hector Plus, the newly launched Mahindra XUV 7XO, the Hyundai Alcazar and the Jeep Meridian.
